THE CHALLENGE
Our agency client was helping to produce a large-scale event featuring Corona at Electric Beach in California. With three weeks of lead time and a need for 15-20 SKUs of fully customized items, we were under the clock to source, sample and produce the goods in the thousands of units in the midst of Chinese New Year, when overseas factories were out of commission for four weeks.
THE SOLUTION
Our in-house design team quickly converted flat designs to full tech packs for custom bathing suits, pool inflatables, a 26-panel parasol umbrella, and many more items. We utilized our network of factories, both domestic and overseas, to source, sample and deliver in time for the event, focusing both on retail merchandise, as well as staff apparel and branded event props.
THE RESULTS
Though we were running the orders with less than half of the standard production timeline, we were able to deliver all of the custom manufactured items in full just in time for the event. Some of the goods sold so quickly that over the next few weeks we processed several reorders for the retail merchandise.
